I bought my Docs about 3 years ago, they have been to many festivals with me and even gone up a mountain to a glacier in Norway on a field trip! They are my trusty steeds! They are taking me to the download festival in June to see Aerosmith too! :)

I started wearing Doc's when I was in high school and hanging out in NYC, I started off with combat boots the old punk format, then I found Doc Martins and fell in love with them and I never went back to combat boots. I been wearing Doc's for over 20 years now. Still love them and own 2 pairs and looking to get another pair. I found out after I had back surgery that the only shoes or boots I could wear were Doc's for the support and comfort issue. I am an old punk who loves his Doc's and is lookiong to get another pair. I have a Black and Blue pair, looking to go back to the Ox Blood color next. LONG LIVE DOC'S....!

In my 20's I dated a "punk girl" and hung out with a punk crowd. I was not punk, but I liked the music and the atitude, my mom said they were the Hippies of the 80's? Anyway my girlfriend never owned a pair but she raved on and on and on, they were hard to find in the USA back then, so the first chance I had I bought my first pair of boots to were when I ride my bike, I LOVE them I have two pair of boots and a pair of shoes, LOVE them ALL!
I turn 50 this year too, so I guess I will have to reward my self with a vintage pair.
P.s. Fred Flinstone turns 50 this year so we are in good company.

I've always loved wearing DM's, being a punk/new wave girl and all that. I usually wear a pair of DM's everywhere I go during weekends and on the last working day of the week when we're allowed to wear jeans in the office. I have one black and one brown... and now hunting for a new Vintage DM's. In the office, I've been told that people who don't know my name are referring to me as the "Doc Martens girl", LOL! (it's a huge office)... So yeah, I love Doc Martens!!!

Well i work in a store called soft moc, and we sell Docs, i never heard of them and they looked kind of punk, but i loved them. So i got a pair of the 8312 Flex Link Bex Sole and i LOVE them. I wear them everywhere and my feet havent been happier :) Dying to get my hands on a pair of the 20 eye boots :) More docs need to come to canada, i cant sell enough of them here at the store i work at, everyone i show them to falls in love :) And loads have memories to spare :)
