Working as a police officer, I've tried all of the more expensive (and lower quality) boots. I've also tried the ultracheap ones too. I've always been a Doc wearer in my personal life...so...why not at work too!? My black Doc boots (winter) and Doc shoes (summer) perform perfectly and, though subtle, they catch the eye of fellow Doc converts. Work is a whole lot easier now!

Just can’t seem to change to anything but Doc’s after about 10 years with the Army you would think I would have had enough of boots, not my Doc’s. Now at work I have to wear steel toes and guess what they are Doc’s. Work gave me so whatever brand to wear went out and found Doc steels, problem solved. I have killed a few pairs, but I still have every pair I have ever owned, one day they will go back to England for resoling or the US side will start doing it. Excellent product and worth every penny, or euro or franc I have paid for them in my travels.

I got my first pair of Dr. Martens in Ireland from a second hand store. I was immediately hooked on my shoes. I have been buying Dr. Martens shoes since then. I still wear those first shoes, in the snow, on ice and they still look new. The craftmanship and materials used are proof that these are the exception to the rule. Love you Dr. Martens

I remember when I got my first pair. 8th grade! I didn't think I could pull it off. Nobody at school had them and I liked that. I went into Robert Wayne and bought myself a Black colored 14 eyelet laceup with white lace on them. God they're beautiful. I wore them around school, everyone wanted a pair. I felt pretty dang good too :) I took them to a show and I was wondering if they were gonna hurt me. I took them anyway and that whole night was completely awesome. I feel really good when I wear them. I just love them. My mom had a problem paying so much for them and sometimes she doesn't like me wearing them. There was a point where I didn't wear them but I felt the need to wear them again. I don't wear them to school, but anywhere outside of the school I'd def. wear. They're so bad ass and I want to keep wearing them in the future! :D

ive worked in construction for 14 years, and of that time ive always wore doc martens.im flat footed and no other shoe is comparable to the comfort that this shoe does.not only do i work in them i also wear them casually.when im up on a really steep roof i can count on my doc martens to hold the grip and let me live another day! ive messed up one time by buying another brand of shoe,i made a 200$ mistake and they lasted about 6 months.my docs last about 3 years at a time, and they remain waterproof!!!! im shopping now for a new pair of docs and thought i would let everyone know what a good shoe it has been for me
